If you want to know the status of your advert like which adverts are being shown or has expired etc. Simply go to “All Banners” and on right side under the column “Advert Status” you can see advert status. By seeing adverts status a user can easily find the reason if an advert is not showing on the website.
Here’s what advert status means what.
Showing
If you see anything starting with “showing” in the “Advert Status” column it means your advert is being shown on location you have specified while configuring the advert. If “Showing on Mobiles” is not present in “Advert Status” column it means that this advert is not showing on mobile devices.
Expired
If you see “Expired” written in “Advert Status” column. It tells that your advert has expired. So it is no longer showing on your website. You can always set next expiry date for an advert by editing the advert schedule.
Scheduled
“Scheduled” advert status indicates that the advert is scheduled for an incoming date and will start showing on website for the period specified in the advert’s schedule setting.
Advert set to Don’t Show
If you set the display option of advert to “don’t show” while editing/creating the advert, you will see “Advert set to Don’t Show” in the “Advert Status” column.
All adverts are disabled
In column “Advert Status”, if you see “All adverts are disabled” it means that the option “Disable all banners/ads ?” in “Plugin Settings” is set to “Yes” and no add will be shown on the website.
Not showing Today
“Not showing Today” in “Advert Status” column means that advert is not configured to be shown on the present day. Hence, you can not see this advert on the particular day. But you can configure it by going to the advert configuration.
Not showing on any device
If you see “Not showing on any device” in the “Advert Status” column, it means that advert is configured not to be shown on any device and hence you will not see advert on any device.
Set to “Custom Selection” but no post or page is selected. But still can be visible in Groups
If you see “Set to Custom Selection but no post or page is selected. But still can be visible in Groups” in the “Advert Status” column, it means that you set the display option of advert to “Custom Selection” while editing/creating the advert but you did not select any posts/pages to show the advert. But the advert still can be visible in group adverts.
Date is invalid
If advert’s “Scheduled To” date is greater than “Scheduled From”, then you will see “Date is invalid” in the “Advert Status” column.
